POP UP SHOP

April 28th, 2024 11am-1pm

After a sell out day last year, I’m teaming up with one of my favourite Adelaide air bnb’s to bring you another pop up shopping event!

You’re invited to shop with us, set up within Minusha air bnb. This is your unique opportunity to not only shop in person, but to view Minusha and meet the creator, Sass.

I’ll be curating a collection specifically for the event. Expect to find what Vintage Carousel is known for, including vintage homewares, furniture, textiles, art and more!

This is a free event, but due to the venue capacity and to ensure it’s enjoyable for all, we have capped the numbers.

To join us, please follow the link to book your entry ticket and find out all the details.

We can’t wait to host you!

THE ALCHEMY OF SOURDOUGH WORKSHOP

Feburary 25th, 2024 10am-1pm

For those who want to be wowed by the simple combination of flour, water, salt and sourdough starter culture, whether you have been baking your own sourdough for awhile and are looking for some extra tips, or you have left the making of good sourdough fall by the wayside and need an enthusiastic nudge to get back on the bread wagon, or you have never made a loaf in your life but get the delicious hunch it would be worthwhile knowing how to do it-this is for you!

Stylist and prop extraordinaire Rachael Will, from Vintage Carousel, will be joining our founder, Cherie Hausler, in her beautiful Stables Kitchen in the Barossa Valley for a relaxed day of all things sourdough; with tips on how to look after your sourdough mother, which flour to use, how to shape and score your loaves, and testing whether your dough is ready to bake. And that’s without mentioning what your mother smells like-insider sourdough baker’s speak there…

Styled with a choice of vintage props collated by Rachael’s keen eye, Cherie will share her tried and true recipe and easy techniques for homemade sourdough that can become part of your regular weekly routine, even if said routine is crazy busy. As Cherie always says, “Sourdough is the best kind of alchemical adventure-start now is always my advice. I can’t tell you how many people have made absolutely cracking loaves on their first attempt using this method, quickly followed by, I don’t know what I was scared of!”

Pots of hand blended tea will be served throughout the workshop, as well as tastes of sourdough recipes demonstrated by Cherie. Rachael will also have her bread baking-focused props available for purchase on the day, so you’ll leave fully equipped to create your own version of freshly baked sourdough loaves at home.

It’s going to be a delicious day, in a gorgeous space (the kitchen where All The Things TV is filmed for SBS) with a bunch of lovely people.

Tickets are extremely limited, to secure yours, follow the link.
